Pat Boles Jordan was born in New York. Her interest in all things creative began at an early age, when her family moved to Arizona and she was introduced to crafts at a local hobby shop and rocks at a lapidary shop. Her interests in making jewelry had begun.

High school brought new opportunities to explore art media. She enjoyed pen and ink drawing, painting with water colors and oils, etching, and silk screening. She was encouraged to enter Scholastic Art Awards and loved the chance to show her art. She was surprised when her artwork was published on the cover of the school literary magazine.

Pat went on to Arizona State University where she majored in education. She minored in art and had many more opportunities to explore and play in the art world. Ceramics was a favorite class. Pat taught junior high and began raising her family after college. In her spare time, she began making jewelry, tried her hand at rock cutting and polishing, making lampwork beads, silver work, fabric painting, and all things creative.

Now retired, Pat continues to explore new media and currently has been cutting up silverplated flatware for jewelry. She plays with pastel, watercolor, and quilting. She has a great appreciation and respect for artists and the art world. She invites you to find your inner artist and find joy in the creative process.
